The Project
Restoring a hard-working business vehicle
RD Mobile Car Detailing recently completed a combination of paint restoration and full vehicle window tinting on this Mazda BT-50 at the client's business, RV Hub in Erina, NSW.
As a working business vehicle regularly exposed to outdoor conditions, the paint had developed visible contamination and a loss of gloss. The bonnet appeared dull, while the roof had accumulated heavy grime and environmental contamination that had become etched into the clear coat over time.
The goal was to safely improve the paintwork, restore as much gloss and clarity as possible, and complete the transformation with a full window tint installation—all during the same on-site visit.

Preparing the paint before correction
Correct paint preparation was essential before polishing because bonded contamination can interfere with correction and may create additional defects if it is not properly removed first.
Thorough Cleaning
The exterior was carefully cleaned to remove loose grime and prepare the surfaces for the deeper decontamination stage.
Paint Decontamination
Bonded contaminants and embedded grime were removed before machine polishing to create a safer and cleaner working surface.
Machine Cut & Polish
The affected paintwork was corrected and refined to improve clarity, gloss and the overall finish of the white paint.

Full Window Tint

To complete the same-day transformation, full automotive window tint was installed across the Mazda BT-50.
The newly tinted glass gives the ute a cleaner and more refined appearance while also improving everyday comfort for a vehicle that is regularly used for business travel around the Central Coast.

This project was completed on-site at the client's business, RV Hub in Erina, allowing the Mazda BT-50 to receive paint decontamination, cut and polish, and full window tinting during one scheduled visit.
While the deeper roof etching could not be completely removed within the agreed service, the paintwork showed a clear improvement in gloss, cleanliness and overall presentation. The completed window tint then provided the finishing touch to this busy business vehicle.
